Homework help is available through "Connect with LEE"

The School District of Lee County is expanding the homework and school assignment support program “Connect with LEE” to include daytime help for students’ home sick or on quarantine.  “Connect with LEE” uses Zoom to Connect students with Live Educational Experts.  Support continues to be offered during the afternoon on days school is in session.

To engage with a teacher for help with homework and class assignments, students use the Student Launchpad on their Chromebook or any electronic device.  They will then select the grade or content specific virtual classroom link, and be placed into a virtual waiting room until the teacher is ready to start the Zoom meeting. 

Connect with LEE is available during the day when school is in session Monday though Friday.

Elementary       9:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Middle School  10:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm to 4:00pm
High School       8:00am-10:00am and 11:00am to 1:00pm

Connect with LEE is available after school on days school is in session Monday through Thursday.

Elementary        3:30pm-7:30pm
Middle School   4:30pm-7:30pm
High School       3:30pm-7:30pm

There is no cost or fee for the service.  More information is available on the School District’s website.

Bus Information

Student Ridership will be available this fall. All Lee County buses will have Student Ridership terminals installed for the start of the 2023 - 2024 school year. Students will present their ID to the barcode reader as they get on and off the bus, so Lee County staff (and parents) can immediately identify when and where students get on and off the bus.

What is AVID?

Advancement Via Individual Determination

Regardless of our students life circumstances, AVID students will learn to overcome obstacles and achieve success. These students also graduate High School and attend College or a Vocational School at higher rates than students who do not participate in AVID. Most importantly though, our AVID students will learn how to become critical thinkers, collaborate with others and set high expectations for themselves so they will be able to conquer with confidence any challenges that may come there way.
