Grab & Go Meals for the Summer
Sunshine Elementary is a Grab and Go Meals site that is available for our families and those in the neighborhood. Please share this with anyone you know who has children in the household that are 18 years or younger.
*Week of June 8-12: Meals will be served daily from 10.:00 am - 12:00 pm.
*Week of June 15 through the summer: Meals with be served Mondays-Thursdays (double meals on Thursday) from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

Sunshine Elementary School Uniform Policy

*Uniforms will be mandatory for the 2020-2021 School  Year*

Students may wear the following uniform items:

• Khaki, or navy pants
• Khaki, or navy shorts (fingertip length)
• Khaki, or navy skirts for girls (Fingertip length)
• Any colored, collared polo-style shirts
• Closed-toe shoes
• No flip-flops or high heels

What is AVID?

Advancement Via Individual Determination

Regardless of our students life circumstances, AVID students will learn to overcome obstacles and achieve success. These students also graduate High School and attend College or a Vocational School at higher rates than students who do not participate in AVID. Most importantly though, our AVID students will learn how to become critical thinkers, collaborate with others and set high expectations for themselves so they will be able to conquer with confidence any challenges that may come there way.
